Campaign period
Submissions are open from May 15 to November 15, 2026.
Eligibility
- Open to individuals aged 18 or older
- No purchase is necessary.
- Participants must submit their own original content
How to participate
Participants can join by:
- Sharing a story on social media and tagging @HalcyonDiveSystems and using #HalcyonWasThere, or
- Submitting their story directly to Halcyon (via email or designated channel)
Submissions can include text, photos, and/or video.
Selection process
- Stories are reviewed and selected by the Halcyon team.
- Monthly selections are made on an ongoing basis.
- Additional selections will be made at key points during the campaign.
- One final story will be selected at the end of the campaign
Selections are based on authenticity, clarity, and the extent to which the story reflects real diving experiences. This is not a random draw.
Recognition and rewards
- Selected contributors may receive Halcyon gear items (e.g., accessories or equipment), subject to availability.
- One final contributor will receive a limited-edition 30th-anniversary Symbios handset.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Content usage
By submitting content, participants grant Halcyon Dive Systems permission to:
- Use, edit, and publish submitted materials across its marketing channels (including social media, website, and newsletters)
- Credit the contributor where reasonably possible.
Participants confirm they have the rights to the content they submit.
General
- Halcyon reserves the right to modify or discontinue the campaign at any time.
- Incomplete or inappropriate submissions may not be considered.
- Participation implies acceptance of these terms.
